Frank has made a set of 3 CD’s which he is making available to ALL REGISTERED MEMBERS of our Blog … F.R.E.E. … 🙂
For those of you that don’t know, Frank is a history and old music nut. For lack of a better name he calls this set of 3 CD’s “ERA #1,#2 and #3” … He keeps updating them, as he is never satisfied … LOL. I know you’ll find them interesting and you’ll not be sorry you got them.
To get your FREE set of 3 CD’s email Frank your name and postal mailing address. Frank’s email address is located in the Directory on our Saigon Kids Web Site. The link to the site is over there ——->
Thank you very much Frank for your ‘Gift of Love’ … much appreciated by all Saigon Kids 🙂
Bob

Frank, are these CD’s different and in addition to the beautiful (and almost worn-out) sets you shared with Christy, Vicki and I a few years ago?
Sondra, Gosh I almost didn’t find your emails in this Intertwined Blog. Did you ever get CDs with a lizard/Gecko on the cover? I do not think so.
The cds you got are different from these. These Cds have different words/speeches and music that I chose in order to try and portray what the Vietnam period was like. I guess that is the best way to say what they are. No, I do not think you have them…anyways these would have been changed. I can not find your address so please email it…do you require three copies? lol Frank
I would like copies of the 3 CD set. My brother Chet Richardson and I were at the high school Sept. 1964 to February 1965. He was a junior and I was a senior. While only there for a short time, our stay impacted the rest of our lives. Our younger sister, Jane, was in the fourth grade.

These CDs are just awesome. What a trip back in time. They must be updated fairly recently as Montgomery Gentry is on disc 2 and they are fairly new compared to 60s groups. Thank you Frank. What a gift.
Frank, the CDs you sent to me arrived today according to my better half. I can’t wait to see the photos contained therein. I thank you so much for your effort and if I can somehow reimburse you the expense, please don’t be shy to let me know. 3 CDs to so many people…come on.
Regards – Ken
Ken,there are no photos…just words and music. Alice, glad you liked them. Frank
Ken, No reimbursement! If I ever get to Germany, buy me an EKU Pils. Frank
Actually Ken, Some people may not like the CDs. If you do, I know what you could do. Buy me a Vietnamese beer in Saigon in March. If you don’t like these CDs, I’ll buy you a beer.
My son, Silas, is accompanying me to Vietnam. We will arrive in Hanoi on 26 February 2009 and work our way south along the Ho Chi Ming Trail. We will be in Saigon for the reunion. We got our tickets about three weeks ago (China Airlines). Gee, the last time I went to Vietnam it was free…well almost, I did have to get my head shaved, however! HA! I hope a lot of folks go!
Frank … thanks for the little surprise in the mail… 🙂
I got around to checking my mail today .. lol. I’ve not had a chance to listen to them yet. But, will while I’m out cruising around running errands today.
Have a fantastic weekend 🙂
Bob

Hi, Frank! I sure would love to have a set of these 3 CD’s if you still have them! The ones you make us for the reunion in TN have been almost worn out.
Thanks many times over for everything you’ve done to bring back memories.

Seems like I have been very busy for the past few months, so I have not kept up a very good correspondence with people. In August I worked on our house and subbed a lot at the high school.
On 14 September, my wife Susan and I left on a road trip up through Arizona, Nevada, California and Oregon. We are now on the North Shore of Oahu. We will not be back home until the end of October.
We are at our son Silas’ home. He moved here in 2006 with the hope of becoming a successful artist. It seems like that is now starting to happen.
He has all my old 33 records (about 800)..so I have had a good time sitting back and listening to some great sounds. There is a different feel to the music when it comes from a turntable! My Roy Orbison records are sure worn!! But the music is still great!!
I will not be able to send the Cds until I get back to Arizona. I now have Sondra’s address, I have Richard’s also (Do you go by Richard now rather then Dick?) But I do not have Tish’s (please send me an email of it). If anyone else wants one, let me know. Need your address though!
Gosh! This place is so NICE!!!!
I’ll try to be a liitle better and keeping up. Oh by the way Bob, you’d mentioned somewhere in past comments, you were going to have something about the ball team. Did I miss it or is it still to be written? Yea, I was thinking about it the other day. See Bob, Larry and Frank did do something positive in the good old days when many thought we were just a bunch of …….Gosh, I lost my train of thought!! lol
Frank, I’m going to move your last comment to the front page as a post, so it won’t be lost here in the Archives and few see it … 🙂
Peace
Bob
