Bob, So we celebrated with football and food and one grandson at our table. This year my children and grandchildren were scattered all over the country – New York, Colorado amd Texas. Tyler is the only kid left in Ohio, as he is a student at The Ohio State University.
May I say I admire what you are doing to show your gratitude by sharing with others less fortunate! I have spent this month looking at the process of cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude not just at Thanksgiving, but all year long. The end result is a true richness of spirit; “the more you cultivate an attitude, even when you don’t feel it, the more you experience the feeling – the more loving we are, the more love we feel; the more joy we radiate, the more comes back our way; and, the more thankful we are, the more we experience the richness of spirit that grateful feelings produce.”
I am thankful for all the people who have touched my life and for all the experiences I have had that have helped me grow into the person I am today. I am thankful that I made a decision to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, which gives me a secure foundation for life and a safe place in times of difficulty.
Happy Thanksgiving, Bob and all the Saigon Kids!!
