PS: On a personal note – When my father was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2000, the Gerson Therapy is one of the *eleven* treatments I discussed, with the 9 doctors treating him, as alternatives to Chemo and radiation therapy. All eleven alternative treatments have been successfully practiced in other countries for over 20 years; and, none of them have the life destroying side effects of Chemo and radiation treatments. All 9 of his doctors told me they were aware of these treatments but they were not classified as *Standard Practice* in the United States, therefore, it was illegal for them to use them. As a result I witnessed my father endure a 14 month slow torturous death as Chemo therapy for the lung cancer devastated his body and immune system to the point that every bone in his body became riddled with bone cancer. The only legal *Standard Practice* treatment available for the bone cancer was massive doses of radiation – he died while the 2nd of the 3 part radiation treatment series was being administered. His body was just too weak to withstand such high levels of radiation. All my father wanted was to be cured of cancer so he could continue to take care of my mother, who had been disabled for several years, so she would be as comfortable as possible during her final years. Yet, the only cancer treatments made available to him by modern medicine in the United States were life destroying chemicals, drugs and radiation. To this day, I still ask myself *why?* the only legal treatments for cancer in America are Chemo therapy, radiation and surgery, when there are so many other known, tested and proven treatments available that do not destroy the body like Chemo and radiation do.
