This is a strange request. I have no pictures of Saigon. I have memories, but nothing with which to back them up.
I lived on a street that no longer bears the name I knew. I went to a noodle shop across from the commissary and BX and shopped on the Street of Pets where we bought six ducklings to take home and raise.
Would anyone be willing to share pictures of buildings and common places Americans visited in Saigon?
I remember the bowling alley and the Capital Kinh Do Theatre. I remember the Vietnamese secret service center across the street where I lived, and I remember walking to the Xa Loi Temple and seeing the brokeness hidden behind the thick padlock and chain that was installed across the gate after the August 1963 raid.
