My wife and I enjoyed a three day visit by Elvera Roussel this weekend here in Grosshansdorf. Elvera left today to return to her home. For those who may recall, Elvera was in the 7^th grade in the 1961-62 school year. She is currently working on a documentary about Saigon Kids (for five years now) and a number of them have been visited by her, questioned, filmed and caught up on old time. This weekend it was my turn. Elvera was a bit young for me back in the SK days but for some reason I have an autographed photo of her. And as with many, after Saigon, I totally lost track of her.

Anyway, as it turns out, Elvera did not know about this blog so I have given her the link and I hope that she will get on board, register in the very near future and be in touch with many of you. I don’t wish to pass out any other info about her as I think that is up to her to do. I wish her great luck in her effort to document the history of the Saigon Kids and our place in history, such as it is. Elvera, we very much enjoyed our time with you.
