I (and my wife Susy Q) have been listening to and burning country music this month. It was not until I was in Vietnam in early 1968, when a young Tex-Mex fellow showed up from Corpus Christi (I do not have a clue what his name is but I remember his face like it was yesterday) when I started listening to and liking it. I remember when he sat up on top of the sand-bag bunker (In the moon-light) and started to sing…my favorite by him was Hank Williams song “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry”..
By the way this is Susy Q’s and my favorite Country and Western Song…
off topic!
Moon died toda! I and Susy Q went thru a 10 hour class on his religion in 1972. Guess what, I am not sorry he his gone. I had friends that started the Unification church in Idaho and Nebraska. Started by getting kids to sell candles in the parking lots. I could get into much more detail, but I have a feeling I helped them to get into buying the the Washington Times.. not one of my best moments.
