The Phoenix Study Group is a Saigon school for American dependents (and others) that was created after the American Community School closed. The school operated from approximately 1966 until April of 1975, and if it had continued to operate would have been renamed the American Community School. There are now two Facebook groups for the school: Phoenix Study group (created by C’Anne Wofford) and Phoenix Study Group, Saigon (created by Kim Westlake-Life). The groups are open (not limited to alumni of the Phoenix Study Group). Photos of students/classes are available there and there is a link to a file sharing website where documents from the school can be uploaded and printed. There is also a link to the ACS website.

Did something happen to the sites? I went there today to show my kids some of the pictures and I can’t find the site that had the pictures of Mrs. Brundridge’s 3rd grade class. I was in that picture. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. Virginia Wilson-king

I just did a search on Facebook for PSG. It seems about a month ago they closed down one of the FB accounts to eliminate confusion. There is now just one FB account for PSG. It is located here:
http://www.facebook.com/groups/104774824112/members/
To search for it on FB type “Phoenix Study Group, Saigon” into the FB search box.

Bob’s information is correct. Thanks for passing on the information, Bob. I believe Virginia is now part of the PSG Facebook group. Virginia, you can also contact me on Facebook. -Mike
