My neighbor Randy Ryan (Randeen) was in the Rainbow Girls in 1963-64. Could anyone tell me about any other social organizations others in the group belonged to during this time?
I also was in the Rainbow Girls about that time. I remember my mom making my gown from a pattern she designed. Thankfully she could sew. I was a “so called” cheerleader or “pep squad” person whatever they called us, there were about 6 of us. Alas, I was a wallflower in those days. I was a year ahead of my age when I was there and very unsure of myself. But it is still the greatest growing up memories I have.
Debby, did you know Randy Ryan? She was quite a talented pianist who played on a grand piano in her tiny living room on Yen Do. She was in the 8th grade 1963-64, and I think she was also quite shy.
