This young lady could really cut a rug….Brooks and I have chatted via Skype a couple of times. Always nice talking with her, as long as its not at 3 AM my time but 8 PM her time…..LOL.
ah, kenny…those were great grooves and great days.
and i SO loved flirting with you!
the cool thing is, i still love moving and dancing. fortunately, i still can!
I lived in Saigon from 1962 to 64. I was in 7th and 8th grade at ACS. I would love to get in contact with Sally Forsythe, Carol Gillis,(married names ?) Steve Lucas. I was in Mrs. Doggett’s 8th grade class in the new building. Sally, Carol, and I were in Rainbow Girls…Chapter # 1 in Vietnam…and I doubt if there’s been a resurgence since we all left almost 50 years ago!
I was too young to attend the high school dances, but I remember many of the names that come up on this site.
When the first Buddhist monk committed suicide by dousing himself with gasoline, we were not allowed to go home after school as the location of our home was somewhere near both his temple and his death site, which I believe was in the middle of a large highway.
Thank you for sharing the photos…brings back a lot of memories.
Susan, Carol Gillis is part of the Facebook Saigon Kids group. You can get her info there.
