The Gecko Project appears to be do-able. Between several of you, we have copies of the Gecko for the years 1960 through 1965 evacuation copy.
As I recall ACS was started in 1958. Anyone have info on the history of ACS, or know where history of the school could be located?
I was there in 1959. I don’t recall there being a 1959 year book. Does anyone else remember?
I’m going to ask this same question in Friday’s newsletter. But, thought I’d ask here also.
How many of you would be interested in having copies of all the year books available for download as eBooks?

I, for one, would love to have access to the 61 and 63 Geckos in the hopes of puting some names to faces in photos that I have but no longer can remember the names, and yes, I am embarrassed to say so, especially as they are young ladies of the ’60s. Life is sooooo difficult. Ken

I have an excellently preserved copy of the 1963 Gecko and a second copy that has Dorothy Malone’s name on it. I can’t remember why except my mom worked as an advisor and she was a real pack rat. I would love to see the 1964 Gecko.

I have the 1962 and 1963 Gecko with many signatures and “memory” notes throughout. I have been out to Virginia to visit my mother and away from the blog. I sure like to see all the names and find out what you are all doing.

I’m taking my mother and two of her friends to West Point on Memorial weekend to observe the 70th reunion of my father’s graduation – class of 1938. I have a neice there, Caroline, who is graduating in 2009. She is in the 7th generation of graduates in an unbroken line in my family. Quite a history and my mother wants to show her off to the rest of the widows and grads of 1938.

My older sister Patricia Nguyen and I were in elementary school @ ACS and recall our time there with great fondness. My (now 81yo) mother Mit worked in the library.
We would love to have access to all the Geckos.

I would love to have Gecko yearbook access too. I lost most of my yearbooks of various schools in multiple Vietnam evacuations. ebook yearbooks would be very cool!
